welcome back cyb fam!

We can’t wait to reopen our doors and work hard together toward a common goal but before we do, we want to share our safety policies. We are busy prepping the space to meet the recommendations of the county guided by the CDC to make sure we bring you back safely and stay safe when we are all together. Here is what to expect when you return to the Notorious CYB!

safety first

When you come back things will look and feel different. However, we will continue to create an atmosphere of community and high energy pre and post class. While we won’t be able to high five and fist bump, we can still give and receive workout props from one another while 6 feet apart. As a crew, we will grow stronger, work harder and appreciate what we have more than we did before because we had to be away from it for so long. We will get through it and come out better on the other side!

While we have always taken pride in keeping the studio spotless, we will now amplify those efforts more than before. We will improve the quality of our cleaning products, increase the number of times we clean daily, ensure 6 feet distancing in every part of the studio and shrink our class sizes. This process will like likely ebb and flow as we learn and grow together in our new normal.

so fresH and so clean

  • The entire studio will receive a top-notch cleaning including “fogging” one week prior to our opening. Fogging is a professional grade spray that removes viruses from the building if they exist.
  • We will use hospital grade cleaning supplies recommended by the CDC to clean floors, doors, door knobs, light switches, props if used and all workout equipment in each studio room. The same will happen in the front desk, hallway, locker, vanity and bathroom areas. This will happen before and after each class.
  • There will be hand sanitizer stations to keep your hands clean and wipes in each studio room so you can feel extra safe if needed.
  • We will have a minimum of 1 hour between classes to allow for ample time to clean the room before the next class.

cover up and come in!

  • All CYB Crew will be wearing masks and gloves when you come in. Teachers will likely teach in face shields when in the studio but will wear their face mask and gloves throughout the studio.
  • Customers may be asked to wear face masks upon entry and departure if there are higher infection numbers in our county however, we are not asking that you wear them while working out. Please avoid touching all unnecessary surfaces in the studio and gloves are recommended when you are not working out.

Temp Checks & Hand Washing

  • All staff will have temperature checks when they enter the studio and will be required to wash hands upon entry.
  • Class participants may be required to do temperature checks if our county case numbers are up. This is to ensure safety of all participants and staff members.

Book and Check in for Class Virtually

  • Registration will be closed 30 minutes prior to class to ensure that our staff is prepared to welcome you and keep you safe.
  • We will not accept walk-ins for classes for the time being and ask that all customers arrive 15 minutes early. Arriving early is required so we are well prepared to get you into class.
  • We will have a strict policy against late arrivals. The door will be closed 5 minutes prior to class starting.
  • Check-in will be contactless so please download our app CYB Studios from Apple and use the self-check-in feature to check in prior to class. If you do not have an Apple device please text 805-249-9623 upon arrival so we can check you in before you enter the studio.
  • We will be inviting people in one by one and will direct people to the class and your designated spot right away. Unfortunately, we will not have the ability to linger in the lounge, locker room, or bathroom area. Socializing has to happen outside the studio.
  • Please note that our booking windows have changed: Booking will open up for members 7 days prior to class and non-members 4 days prior to class.
  • Staff will be assisting from a Physical Distance of at least 6 feet.

Restrooms, Showers and Changing Rooms

  • We will have one bathroom operating for students and one for staff. We do ask that you use the bathroom before you arrive to avoid using it while you are here.
  • We will have one operating sink for hand washing. This is not designed to limit hand washing but to maintain social distancing.
  • Showers will not be available during this time.
  • Changing rooms will be closed so please come dressed and ready for class.

Temporary Changes to Other Amenities

  • The water station in the front of the studio will be available for use but the one in the back will not due to the distance from the bathroom area. We would ask that you please fill your water bottle before you arrive and always feel free to purchase one!
  • Providing rentals and single day use of hand towels, mats, shoes and towelettes is not recommended at this time. To limit exposure, we have had to make the difficult decision to remove these amenities for members and non-members. We ask that you bring your own hand towel, cycle shoes and mat to class each time.
  • We will be offering an add-on service fee of $15 to those that would like to have a rental kit that is specific to them during this time. This will include shoes, a mat, a hand towel and yoga mat towel that is labeled with your initials and used only by you. We will pull these items out for you to use when you arrive at the studio for class and then clean, disinfect and store these items after every use.
  • The lockers will not be available for use at this time so please leave all valuable belongings at home. There is minimal room to bring them into the studio where you take class and there will be nowhere to store your items outside of class. We ask that you only bring in what you need! Phones can be brought into the studio but must be in Do Not Disturb Mode to avoid distraction during class.

Entering and Exiting

  • The desk staff will have you stand outside until it is your turn to head into the studio. When you do enter the studio please head straight into the classroom and to your bike, mat or barre for class. We will have signs to indicate where you are in class, bike numbers and name labels to indicate your spot.
  • Social distancing will be set up 6 feet apart. Please do not move the bike, the mats or your spot at the barre. They have been premeasured and appropriately placed for social distancing.
  • There will be NO late entry allowed by any means.
  • The teacher will teach from one spot in the room at all times to maintain a safe 6 feet distance. There will be no hands-on adjustments.
  • We will be excusing you by row and or place in the room so we can exit with social distancing. Please wait patiently until it is your turn.
  • While it might be tempting please avoid lingering to talk to the instructor or congregating in the studio. While we all want to hang together, we ask that you exit the building promptly for the safety of your fellow CYB crew members.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • We have a limited amount of space for our students at this time due to limited capacity so every spot is precious. No showing for class will have a $25 charge so please be sure to cancel.
  • If you do need to cancel, please do so 2 hours prior to class or you will be charged a $10 fee.
  • If you are sick you can cancel without penalty. If you are sick – PLEASE STAY HOME!

CYB RETAIL

  • CYB retail cannot be tried on or purchased at the studio. Please feel free to shop our gear at our online shop.

CYB Honor system

If you’re sick, STAY HOME. If you are experiencing or have experienced any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days, we ask that you do not come to the studio:
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are awaiting test results or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not come to the studio for 14 days or until you have tested negative for COVID-19.

Maintain Social Distance / Minimize Contact. We’re all excited to see one another and it seems unnatural not to hug or greet your fellow CYB’ers and instructors. Until the social distance requirements are lifted, we ask that you respect one another, maintain 6 feet of distance between one another and refrain from person-to-person contact.

The CDC advises that anyone over the age of 65, or with pre-existing conditions, should minimize social contact. If you fall into this category, and are still concerned about coming to the studio, we will continue our virtual offerings via on-demand and zoom. We encourage you to stay involved and fit so you’re ready to rejoin us when the time is right.

If there is a case of COVID-19 reported in the studio we will notify you immediately.
